To be fair the Ford Ranger stereo isn’t terrible, but it can be so much better.
For the Ranger I offer an Audison 8 channel amplifier with a built in 9 channel DSP system to run a 7 speaker system fully active(each speaker amplified individually), which includes a subwoofer.
As the factory stereo also links and displays to other functions regarding the vehicle, it stays, and the Ranger will look exactly the same as from factory.
The amp will offer a total of 680watts of power and will run to each of the 6 speakers independantly. The 7th and 8th channels are bridged to run the subwoofer to deliver an impressive 170 watts of power.
The amplifier is mounted beneath the drivers seat and sends power to 2x Audison “6.5 mid bass drivers in the front doors, 2 x Audison tweeters mounted behind the mirror caps and 2 x Audison “6.5 coaxial speakers mounted in the rear doors (all of which are factory positions)
The subwoofer sits beneath the rear seats in place of one of the cubby boxes and delivers a warm rich sound.
Once the rear seat is replaced, the subwoofer is hidden from view.
New wiring is ran throughout the vehicle and nothing is cut into to avoid any warranty issues with your Ford dealership.
